Dear Temple Community, 

The Caring Committee thanks you! Recently, we had the opportunity to become familiar with the Lotsa Helping Hands app, as there were three separate meal requests within a short period of time. Two were shiva-related requests, while the third was post-surgery related. Many Temple members responded generously – and this is typical of the TBB community.

Can you please help us explore how else the Caring Committee might be able to help? Please take a moment right now to fill out this questionnaire about what you might be able and willing to do for other members of the community. 

As your Caring Committee, we wanted to start out by focusing on one task: organizing meals. That has been a success, thanks to you! We are now considering whether the TBB community can assist with ride requests in the near future. 

It is important for TBB to have a list of people who are willing to volunteer, so in case a request is not readily responded to by the larger TBB community, we can reach out directly to this group of volunteers. Please consider whether you might be one of the people on call. We want to assure you there will be no obligation to respond to every request.

The information on this questionnaire will help us develop a database of volunteers for a particular or multiple tasks. Having a database could potentially also help us when there is an urgency to respond quickly, like when there is a death for instance. If you have already filled it out, thank you again. But if not, please do!
