Families Committee

The Families Committee organizes programs for tots through school-aged kids at TBB. Our core programs include family Shabbat services, Pajama & Pizza Havdalah, Kabbalat Shabbat potlucks, and Jewish holiday celebrations. We also hold periodic social and cultural events, such as 5th–8th grade Movie Night and family Israeli dancing.

We meet monthly on Monday evenings from 8:15–9:00 pm; all are welcome.

About Our Chair

Jodi Nemser-Abrahams (she/her) is committed to bringing a family perspective to TBB leadership conversations. Jodi wears many hats at TBB, including being a member of our Keshet Shivyon cohort that kicked off earlier this spring.

Jodi lives in Somerville with her partner, Peter, and their three young children. Keep an eye out for her biking around the city in her purple helmet.
