Our annual Memorial Service is held on the Sunday between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur. This year, we return to the B’nai Brith Cemetery off of Rte. 128 in Peabody, MA.
The B'nai Brith Cemetery was founded by our forebears in 1940 as a sacred resting place for members of the congregation. The Memorial Service is a communal opportunity for us to remember family, friends, and fellow congregants interred there and to honor our collective history.
The service itself includes traditional mourning prayers and reflections; readings of the names of those interred in the past year, those memorialized on plaques in the Cemetery Chapel, and others as requested. Following the service, you are welcome as always to visit loved ones' grave sites. Assistance with prayers is available as needed.
Physical Accessibility
There are three steps up to the seating area in the Cemetery Chapel. Bathroom facilities are available.
